Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation, a DGOC subsidiary, seeks a fully competent Lease Operator to monitor wells and sites along an assigned route in Texas. You will perform routine duties, report production data, and help keep equipment safe and properly maintained.

The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driver license, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in a team. Oil-field experience is preferred, with familiarity of Cygnet, FDC, and FlowCal software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid driver license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident.
• Ability to wear and properly utilize PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, earplugs, steel-toed shoes, etc.).
• Knowledge of company software for electronic measurement data collection (Cygnet, FDC and FlowCal).
• 2 years of oil field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and report the operation of wells and sites on an assigned route.
• Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule; monitor production equipment.
• Analyze production related issues and troubleshoot with foreman and relevant personnel.
• Communicate daily plans with production foreman and participate in well reviews and safety meetings.
• Work to optimize productions in a safe, cost‑effective manner.
• Participate in on‑call rotation including some nights and weekends.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on a routine basis.
• Read and interpret meter charts.
