NiSource is seeking a Field Leader to oversee Electric and Gas vegetation operations, directing contracted crews and planners for efficient work. The role covers emergency support, regulatory compliance, and multi-project budgeting across transmission and distribution networks.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring timely, compliant project execution with on-call readiness for storms or outages.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years’ utility forestry experience.
• Strong knowledge of forestry practices, arboriculture, and chemical applications.
• Experience with gas/electric transmission systems and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to read maps/drawings and use MS Office and ESRI tools.
• Driver’s license required; state pesticide licensure preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and oversee annual work plans for vegetation management.
• Manage contracted crews and suppliers across service territory.
• Ensure safety compliance and incident response coordination.
• Coordinate outages, budgets, and project documentation.
