Job summary

NiSource is seeking a Field Leader for Measurement & Regulation to lead a team responsible for operating and maintaining measurement stations that feed natural gas systems and customers. You will oversee safety, performance coaching, and continuous improvement across a defined territory.

The role requires strong decision-making in emergencies, a solid grasp of safety/compliance, and the ability to motivate diverse stakeholders to achieve objectives.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret system diagrams for plant piping, processing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Make sound decisions in emergencies with strong safety and compliance knowledge.
• Motivate stakeholders with differing priorities to achieve goals.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills; coach front-line workers.
• Willing to travel overnight/out of town as needed.
• Leadership experience; certifications such as PMP, CSP, Professional Engineer are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety by modeling and ensuring safe work practices.
• Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to front-line staff.
• Communicate effectively between front-line workers and leadership.
• Develop and evaluate front-line workers to improve performance.
• Support development and execution of team work plans.
• Respond to emergencies per established procedures, incident command system.
