Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Supervisor, Mechanical to lead a team on Starbase infrastructure projects. You will supervise a fast-paced field crew, coordinate logistics, manage assets, and enforce safety standards to ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires hands-on supervision, collaboration with engineering and project management, and the ability to adapt to demanding outdoor conditions while maintaining quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction management, architecture or facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site supervision of a fast-paced construction project and manage a team of laborers and contractors.
• Plan, implement and enforce construction site logistics to meet broader project goals and schedule.
• Manage SpaceX construction assets (trailers, porta pots, rental equipment, etc.).
• Enforce SpaceX safety policies and drive safety culture on site.
• Coordinate daily field operations and resolve conflicts among contractors and internal partners.
• Oversee procurement and execution of sub-projects, gather proposals, and manage costs and schedules.
• Triage issues with engineering and project management to meet deadlines and quality.
