Job summary

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking an LCMS Sales Specialist to promote and grow sales across a defined territory in the Greater Boston Area. You will own the territory and collaborate with regional analytical sales engineers to drive year-over-year growth.

This field-based role requires frequent customer-site visits; some admin work may be done from Marlborough, MA, but it is not remote. Base salary aligns with market and includes uncapped bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 1 year of LCMS instrumentation experience.
• At least 1 year of capital equipment sales experience.
• 2+ years of B2B direct sales experience in capital equipment preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of LCMS workflows.
• Ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize new client opportunities; manage and grow existing accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Provide consultative support and product guidance to customers.
• Deliver technical presentations and represent Shimadzu at trade shows.
