Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking dynamic individuals to join our Williamsburg team as Field Engineer Helpers, supporting field crews with layout from contract documents and gaining hands-on Trimble experience in a field environment.

Ideal candidates have a survey background or related license and are eager to grow into a fully qualified Field Engineer role. The position includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to manage field data.
• Must have a good work ethic, be self-starting, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field crews and customers.
• Driving record must be satisfactory; must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Overtime may be required as needed.
• Preferred CAD experience and exposure to Trimble hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews with layout and field measurements.
• Collect or create points from contract documents to establish field layouts.
• Learn to operate Trimble equipment in the field.
• Support the Layout Technicians and VDC team to grow into a Field Engineer role.
• Maintain and calibrate field equipment; perform other duties as assigned.
