Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer Helper to support field crews with layout tasks and document-based point creation. You may lay out ducts, pipes, elevations, sleeves, and hangers, while learning Trimble equipment.

Ideal candidates have a survey background or are licensed surveyors seeking growth. Growth opportunities exist within the field engineering team, with occasional overtime and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines.
• Self-starter capable of working with others.
• Able to communicate effectively with field crews and customers.
• Must have satisfactory driving, criminal records and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews with layout and field data collection.
• Create points from contract documents for field layout purposes.
• Learn to operate Trimble equipment and software.
• Support the Layout Technicians and VDC team.
• Travel as needed.
