Job summary

Atlantic Constructors Inc. in the United States seeks a Field Engineer Helper to support field crews by collecting or creating points from contract documents and establishing field layout for duct, pipe, elevations, sleeves, walls and hangers, while learning to operate Trimble equipment.

You will work closely with Layout Technicians and the VDC team, gain hands-on experience, and develop toward becoming a fully qualified Field Engineer, with opportunities to apply survey background and potential

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to work and communicate with others.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record, criminal record, and ability to pass a drug screen.
• Requires overtime as needed.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working in a field environment.
• Assisting field crews and customers with layout.
• Ability to use Trimble software and hardware.
• Maintaining equipment on a daily basis and staying current with the annual calibration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
