Job summary

Atlantic Constructors Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer Helper to support field layout by collecting or creating points from contract documents for various layouts, including ducts, pipes, elevations, sleeves, and hangers.

You will learn to operate Trimble equipment and work closely with Layout Technicians and the VDC team. Ideal candidates may have surveying background or be licensed surveyors seeking growth.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines.
• Must be a self-starter and able to communicate with others.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record, criminal record, and pass a drug screen.
• Overtime may be required.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent; CAD experience and military background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working in a field environment.
• Assisting field crews and customers with layout.
• Ability to use Trimble software and hardware.
• Maintaining equipment on a daily basis and staying current with the annual calibration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
