Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer Helper to support field crews by creating field layouts from contract documents. Responsibilities include layout of duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, walls, and hangers, and learning to operate Trimble equipment.

Ideal candidates have a background in survey work or are licensed surveyors seeking growth. The role requires field work, reliability, and willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to work and communicate with others.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record, criminal record, and ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Working in a field environment.
• Assisting field crews and customers with layout.
• Ability to use Trimble software and hardware.
• Maintaining equipment on a daily basis and staying current with the annual calibration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
