Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer Helper to support field crews with layout tasks, including duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, walls and hangers. The role involves learning Trimble equipment and working closely with Layout Technicians and the VDC team to become a fully qualified Field Engineer.

Ideal candidates have a background in survey work or are licensed surveyors seeking growth in the field. Travel may be infrequent; overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess good work ethic and be accountable for deadlines.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to work and communicate with others.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record, criminal record, and ability to pass a drug screen.
• Requires overtime as needed.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• CAD experience preferred.
• Prior military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field environment work with layouts for duct, pipe, conduits, elevations, sleeves, walls and hangers.
• Assist field crews and customers with layout tasks.
• Learn to operate Trimble equipment and software.
• Maintain field equipment daily and ensure annual calibration.
• Collaborate with Layout Technicians and VDC team to grow into a Field Engineer role.
