Job summary

Bechtel in New Albany, Ohio is hiring for a Labor Relations/Workforce Staffing role on a full-time field project team. You will monitor work practices daily, support staffing plans, wage trend studies, and craft training programs to enhance workforce readiness.

You will coordinate with trades representatives, manage HR information systems, and help ensure compliance with labor laws while contributing to smooth project execution and positive workplace relations.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Alternate requirement: 6–9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze productivity and labor trends.
• Prepare staffing forecasts.
• Monitor field labor practices and advise supervisors.
• Support LR/IR/WFS communications.
• Coordinate with trades representatives on process improvements.
• Interface with craft workforce, leadership, client, and public.
• Produce project-related LR/IR/WFS communications.
• Investigate employee misconduct per work rules.
