Job summary

Avantor is seeking a role in the Lab and Production Services group to perform customized lab work and support customers across multiple locations. You will work with operations specialists and production teams to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

The role requires 3+ years in inventory/control/procurement, travel readiness, and strong communication. Overnight travel and a valid license are essential, with vaccination requirements at covered sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates/bachelor’s in business or science is a plus.
• 3+ years in inventory control, procurement, shipping/receiving, or inside sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and related collaboration tools.
• Overnight travel is required and a travel bonus is offered.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in GMP facilities and knowledge of ESS information systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory control and procurement activities for multiple sites.
• Collaborate with Lab and Production Services to support customers.
• Travel between locations, including overnight trips, as needed.
• SAP/Inventory Manager and other systems support and data entry.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and GMP requirements.
