Job summary

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team supports customers with customizable, end-to-end laboratory operations across biopharma, pharma, and educational sectors. The role involves coordinating with multiple facilities, managing materials, and traveling within the SF Bay Area to client sites.

You will work closely with Lab and Production Services professionals to execute mission-based lab work and research protocols, while ensuring timely delivery to customers and maintaining quality metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/undergraduate degree a plus.
• 3+ years experience in inventory control/procurement/shipping/receiving/inside sales.
• Knowledge of SAP, Inventory Manager, Chemical Manager or similar systems is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel between SF Bay Area locations.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus.
• Overnight travel is required and travel bônus applies.
• Vaccination for COVID-19 as required by sites providing coverage.
• Experience in GMP facility is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple facilities/customers within a geographic area.
• Travel to client locations and coordinate with management.
• Interface with customer contacts to procure lab supplies and materials.
• Operate SAP and inventory systems to track materials and orders.
• Train staff on service offerings and provide SAP support.
• Help manage budgets, KPIs and safety goals.
• Contribute to SOPs, scopes of work, and quality processes.
