Job summary

Ross Incineration Services, Inc is seeking a Field Service Chemist to support the safe and compliant development of our Field Service Program. You will operate with limited supervision, manage lab packing at customer sites, and communicate hazards effectively to handling teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry or a related field and at least 2 years in environmental remediation or hazardous waste disposal. Travel will be 30-40% with PPE and safety procedures a daily focus.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology or related science or equivalent experience.
2 years experience in environmental remediation or hazardous waste disposal preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized waste tracking systems.
Ability to travel 30-40% of the time.
Physically able to wear PPE and perform required duties.

Responsibilities

Assist with the safe, compliant and profitable development of our Field Service Program.
Ensure safety requirements are met or exceeded and adhere to company procedures.
Perform lab packing at customer sites in accordance with health and safety guidelines and policies.
Maintain paperwork to track and invoice projects and assist with site upkeep.
Support Field Services Manager with field operations and as backup to Customer Service for manifests and Waste Product Surveys.
Perform fingerprint testing in the field as necessary.
