Job summary

Ross Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support the safe, compliant and profitable development of our Field Service Program. The role requires working with field staff and customers to ensure proper lab packing, waste handling and regulatory compliance.

You will perform chemical inventories, communicate hazards clearly, operate equipment safely, travel 30–40% of the time, and maintain project paperwork while upholding our safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology or related science.
• 2 years experience in environmental remediation or hazardous waste disposal preferred.
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office/Windows and waste tracking systems).
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and travel 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the safe, compliant and profitable development of our Field Service Program.
• Ensures safety requirements are met or exceeded and adheres to all company procedures.
• Performs lab packing at customer sites in accordance with governmental health and safety guidelines and customer policies.
• Communicates hazards of materials to others handling or receiving the waste materials.
• Maintains paperwork to track and invoice projects and supports field services at customer locations.
• Operates field equipment and serves as backup in preparing manifests and surveys.
