Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a field-based Key Account Executive to cover the Hampton Roads territory (Virginia Beach to Williamsburg, VA). You will educate clients, upsell services, and act as a liaison between clients and Labcorp operations, ensuring retention and growth.

The role requires 3+ years in outside sales or account management, strong customer service, and the ability to travel overnight. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years outside sales or account management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Superior customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to travel overnight and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Educate and upsell assigned accounts in territory.
• Liaise between client and Labcorp operations for needs.
• Provide ongoing service and issue resolution to customers.
• Ensure customer retention with superior service.
• Recommend client-focused solutions to grow accounts.
• Manage client day-to-day operations and upsell book of business.
• Collaborate with senior sales reps to expand book of business.
• Provide ongoing educational material to clients.
