Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes far beyond basic helpdesk tasks, including OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and on-site cabling across entire buildings.

If you thrive in the field and enjoy variety, this opportunity is for you. You’ll work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments, stay available on-call, and be paid hourly on site with travel pay and time-tracking via an app.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT/Telecom experience and one certification or 5+ years field experience.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Must have a standard set of IT/tools and a laptop with an Ethernet port.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call for service requests.
