Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support a national client base. The role goes beyond traditional helpdesk tasks, involving OS installs, hardware diagnostics, cabling, and telecom work across diverse sites.

You will work independently in retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments, maintaining professionalism and responsiveness while on-call within your territory. Travel and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Reliable personal vehicle; public transportation not accepted.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must have a standard IT and networking tool kit (screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers).
• Laptop with Ethernet port.
• Smartphone with mobile hotspot.
• Be on-call 24/7 is a strong advantage.
• Punctual, courteous, and presentable.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within your territory.
