Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled IT/telecom technicians to support a national client base. This role goes beyond typical helpdesk tasks, including OS installations, cabling, and telecom work across various sites.

You will work independently in retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments, maintaining professionalism and readiness to respond to service requests within your territory. This is a hands-on field role with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of IT/telecom field experience.
• One of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years field experience.
• Experience with OS installations, cabling, and telecom work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within your territory.
