Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support our national client base and perform hands-on field work beyond basic helpdesk tasks. You may install operating systems, diagnose hardware, set up software, and run structured cabling across buildings.

This role requires field readiness, flexibility, and the ability to work in diverse environments such as retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate settings. On-call availability and professional client interaction are essential.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience.
• One of the following certifications: A+ or Network+, or 5+ years of verifiable field IT/Telecom experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of technical tasks including OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
