Job summary

Vitis Technologies is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide on-site technical support and maintenance across client locations, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires travel, installation and configuration of IT systems, regular documentation, and clear communication with clients and management. A technical degree and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field is required.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+ or Security+ are preferred.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of IT support or similar experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues, responding to service requests promptly.
• Diagnose and repair problems with computers, printers, peripherals, and IT equipment.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment and manage repair/replacement of faulty components.
• Document service requests and provide status updates to clients and management.
