Job summary

Cinema West, California’s #1 movie chain, is looking to add a Field Support Technician to the Corporate Operations team in Petaluma, CA. This hands-on role supports day-to-day theatre operations with installation, maintenance, and repair of site technology including POS terminals, self-service kiosks, signage, printers, and network gear.

Requires at least 2 years in IT support, strong Windows and networking skills, and willingness to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of hands-on IT support, field service, or related role.
• Proficiency in Windows desktop troubleshooting and administration.
• Networking fundamentals and device problem isolation.
• Experience with printers and peripheral devices.
• Ability to perform physical installation work and climb ladders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain tech to non-tech staff.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents via the company system; maintain status updates.
• Serve as primary technical responder for weekends and on-site operations.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot POS/kiosk/ printers and networked devices.
• Image, deploy, and manage workstations; enroll devices in MDM/endpoint tools.
• Provide remote support to out-of-state sites as directed.
• Stage and transport hardware for openings, updates, migrations.
• Maintain site configuration records and inventory data.
• Open, track, and follow up on vendor support cases; drive to resolution.
• Document procedures and keep asset records current.
