Job summary

Cinema West, California’s #1 movie chain, is seeking a Projection Technician to join our Corporate Operations team. Based out of Northern California, you’ll deliver technical support to theatres across California and Idaho.

You will perform preventive maintenance, install equipment, conduct site surveys, and handle on-demand service calls while ensuring smooth operation of digital cinema gear. This is a full-time exempt role with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of audio systems, electronics/mechanical, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and preventive maintenance on servers, projectors and audio and digital cinema (TMS) equipment during on-site visits.
• Work with Technical Service Team to provide escalated troubleshooting and timely resolution.
• Assist Theatre Managers on operations, maintenance, troubleshooting and training on hardware and software.
• Inspect and test components, replace defective parts, and diagnose firmware/software issues.
• Record activities in UpKeep, including work descriptions, expenses, hours and travel.
