Job summary

Theisen’s, Inc. is seeking an IT Field Technician to install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and retail technology across stores and corporate locations. This role travels to various sites and partners with the IT Operations Manager to implement infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of IT hardware/field service experience, vocational training or an associate’s degree in a related field, and strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational training or an Associate’s degree in a Computer Science related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years IT hardware or field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair computer equipment, mobile retail devices, network hardware, and peripherals at store/corporate locations.
• Perform on-site network installs and upgrades, including switches, access points, firewalls, and structured cabling.
• Support testing/implementation of new procedures, hardware/software upgrades, and technology initiatives.
• Coordinate field technology projects like store refreshes, new equipment rollouts, remodels, and infrastructure upgrades.
