Job summary

Theisen's Home Farm Auto is seeking an IT Field Technician to install, maintain, and repair computer hardware, network infrastructure, and retail tech across locations. You will serve as the primary on-site resource for hardware deployment, network installs, and field implementation support, traveling to store and corporate locations as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in IT hardware or field service and an associate degree or equivalent vocational training.

Qualifications

Education: Vocational training or associate degree in a computer science related field.
Experience: 2-4 years in IT hardware or field service.
Hands-on field work across store and corporate locations with travel.

Responsibilities

Install, move, maintain, and repair computer equipment and network hardware at store and corporate locations.
Perform on-site network installs and upgrades, including switches and access points, following standards.
Test and implement new procedures, hardware, and software upgrades with documented outcomes.
Coordinate field technology projects like store refreshes and new equipment rollouts.
Travel to retail and corporate locations for field service work, including overnight travel when needed.
