Job summary

Quick-Quack-Car-Wash seeks an IT Field Technician to install hardware and software, support and troubleshoot systems, and program security, camera, alarm, and access control systems. You will perform installations of new store equipment with local Field Techs and other company installation teams.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP). A 4–5 year IT experience is preferred; driving record must be clean and you must be able to lift up

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Familiarity with Mac/IOS
Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies
4-5 years of Network/System/Security/Hardware experience, multi-unit experience preferred
BSc/BA in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field preferred
Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Install hardware and software, support and troubleshoot hardware/software problems.
Work with staff and install site equipment according to standards.
Travel more than 50% of the time.
Configure and maintain networked systems and point-of-sale hardware/software.
Collaborate with other installation teams and field techs.
