Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Service & Delivery Technician III to support our Southern Arizona retail stores, including Tucson metro and nearby border locations. You will repair self-checkout systems, scales, POS devices, iPads, and other hardware, and deploy new hardware in the field.

The role involves on-site visits and remote support as needed, with an emphasis on timely IT issue resolution and collaboration with Corporate IT. Strong customer service and technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, AA/AS/BA/BS preferred or 3+ years of technical/training/hardware certifications preferred.
• IT project implementation exposure with 5+ years’ technical systems and 2+ years of technical support preferred.
• 2+ years retail business experience preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with retail store systems, technology systems and hardware preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with installation and configuration of desktop and peripheral technology preferred.
• Excellent telephone, customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather important information to resolve high pressure issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support standard hardware platforms and systems installed in Safeway/Albertsons retail stores and offices.
• Repair approved standard technology hardware including PC/server hardware, network hardware, printers, scales, iPads, eCommerce devices, self-checkout and POS equipment.
• Provide network and remote connectivity (hardware/software) support.
• Install new hardware and software.
• Provide customers with IT support and meet SLA goals.
• Coordinate with Corporate IT groups for on-site support and resolutions.
• Adhere to repair standards and service levels.
