Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking an IT Service & Delivery Technician III to install, configure, test and deploy hardware and software across store locations in Southern Vermont and nearby New Hampshire. The role includes end-user training, onsite support and collaboration with a team of IT professionals.

The position may require overnight or early shifts, travel to stores, and ongoing learning of new skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone, customer service and problem-solving skills for remote locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for presenting technical info.
• Working knowledge of IT hardware, installation models and Windows/MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a matrixed organization.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, overnight shifts and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Support standard hardware platforms and systems in Shaw’s stores.
• Repair PC/Server hardware, Network hardware, RF hardware and printers.
• Ensure recoverability of systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot resolution.
• Install new hardware and software.
• Provide IT support and meet SLAs with customers.
• Provide network and remote connectivity support.
• Maintain equipment inventory controls and policies.
• Coordinate with Support Center on problems and issues.
• Interface with Corporate IT groups for on-site support and resolutions.
• Adhere to repair standards and service levels.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Transport to different Albertsons-owned stores daily.
