Job summary

Harris County CSCD is seeking an IT Support Specialist to maintain and support the department's information systems, assist end users, and manage hardware and software deployments across multiple facilities in Harris County. The role requires hands-on support for Windows environments, Office technologies, and related IT services.

The position involves regular Full-Time hours, occasional overtime, and travel to department facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or higher; equivalent experience may substitute.
• Experience supporting Windows 10 and current Microsoft technologies.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and ability to travel within Harris County.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support CSCD information and communications systems.
• Provide technical support for Help Desk requests.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot software and hardware.
