Job summary

Davis Unlimited Information Technologies, Inc. (DUIT) in Maryland is seeking an IT Field Support Specialist with 0–2 years of experience to join our certified, award-winning IT team.

You will install, repair, and troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals, and support end-users both on-site and remotely. You must read technical manuals, work with Active Directory and Microsoft Office, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and drive a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school/GED with 0–2 years IT field support experience; AA/BS acceptable as substitute.
• 8570 Certification is required; Security+ preferred for advanced security tasks.
• Strong ability to read manuals and apply technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and document current configuration and user needs.
• Develop hardware installation schedules and prepare configuration drawings.
• Install and configure workstations, printers, peripherals, and cabling.
• Train site personnel on proper hardware usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and repair workstations, printers, and teleconferencing equipment.
