Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Field Support Technician to join our team in Doral, FL. You will provide advanced onsite and remote technical support, handling complex troubleshooting, hardware/software issues, and end-user assistance.

Must have a Top Secret clearance eligibility and IAT Level II certification within 3 months. DOE DoD-aligned requirements include DoD experience and strong communication skills for knowledgebase development and client training.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years in IT service desk or desktop support operations.
OR an associate’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
OR a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with 1+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including network troubleshooting and configuration.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
Experience with cybersecurity tools and best practices.
IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ AZ-104 or MD-102) within 3 months of starting.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced onsite and remote technical support, specializing in complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, install and configure equipment, and provide technical assistance to end users.
Perform onsite maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients and help develop/maintain knowledgebase articles and training materials.
Escalate complex issues to senior Technicians and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
