Job summary

Gr8ttek, LLC in Waterloo, IA is seeking a regular Field Specialist to join its Infrastructure Delivery team. You will perform hardware-focused break fix services at client sites, troubleshoot and repair devices, and manage service calls from start to finish.

The role requires basic to intermediate analytical skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. You will also handle administrative tasks and may mentor colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to drive yourself to client locations.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing customer break fix support for designated equipment.
• Communicating clearly in written and verbal form.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Accepting and delivering all service calls assigned.
• Completing all administrative tasks associated with each call.
• Responsible for control and return of assets and inventory.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• May provide functional guidance to colleagues.
