Job summary

Turtle Trax S.A. is seeking an IT Field Operations Supervisor to lead a regional team of onsite technicians in manufacturing and warehousing environments.

You will own day-to-day field service delivery, schedule and dispatch, coach staff, and serve as the escalation point for plant leaders and vendors. This player-coach role requires hands-on leadership, willingness to cover sites during PTO or leaves, and responsibility for maintaining site playbooks, safety practices, and KPI-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent
• 5+ years hands-on IT infrastructure or field services experience (workstations, servers, basic Linux, printers, network)
• 2+ years supervising technical teams: assigning work, quality checks, schedules, coaching
• Experience running multi-site field support with SLA and ticket metrics
• Knowledge of ITSM tools, CMDB, asset management, and infrastructure monitoring
• Experience coordinating vendors/OEMs and maintenance windows
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, including non-technical plant leaders
• Proficiency with reporting/data analysis tools (Excel/BI)
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites to cover shifts and outages

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and dispatch a field technician team across plants/regions
• Hire, onboard, train, coach technicians; conduct performance reviews with HR
• Build skills via cross-training and runbooks; handle complex escalations onsite
• Cover technician sites during PTO/leave and backfill vacancies
• Maintain coverage calendars and site backups; ensure rapid ramp-up at sites
• Own SLA and ticket performance: response/resolution times, backlog, first-time fix
• Plan maintenance windows, outages, projects, and site audits
• Oversee asset lifecycle: deployments, relocations, decommissions, inventory accuracy
• Define and refine field operating procedures, quality checks, safety practices
• Track metrics and drive actions to reduce issues and tech debt
• Manage parts, spares, tools, procurement; assist budget/resource planning
• Act as primary escalation point for plant/site leadership; communicate status clearly
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors on repairs, warranties, and installations
• Stay current on site-specific tech and runbooks
