Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Field IT Engineer to ensure effective IT operations at field locations and align with business objectives. The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing IT activities and projects per company standards.

The position requires hands-on network and voice systems support, travel up to 75% within the territory, and remote work flexibility on non-travel days. A CCNA and Cisco VOIP experience are preferred, with strong communication between IT and field staff

Qualifications

• 4 years of computer network experience.
• Experience with Cisco VOIP/UCCE.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide level-2 support for WANs, LANs, and field servers.
• Coordinate with field staff, management, vendors, and Corporate IT.
• Identify and report proactive solutions to save costs and improve efficiency at field locations.
• Assist with installation, replacement, and disposal of field computer hardware.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure at field locations.
• Troubleshoot Cisco VOIP phone systems and coordinate with consultants.
• Build and manage vendor relationships for IT services and supplies.
• Provide timely reports on activities as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
