Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Field IT Engineer to ensure effective IT operations across field locations in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. You will plan, coordinate, and implement IT activities and communicate plans between field staff and Corporate IT.

Responsibilities include supporting WANs and LANs, managing field servers and applications, and coordinating with vendors. The role requires Cisco VOIP/UCCE experience and CCNA certification, with up to 75% travel.

Qualifications

• 4 years of computer network experience.
• Experience with Cisco VOIP/UCCE.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for WANs, LANs, field servers and field apps.
• Liaise between field staff, management, vendors and Corporate IT.
• Identify and report proactive solutions to save costs or improve field efficiency.
• Participate in installation, replacement, and disposal of field hardware.
• Manage IT infrastructure at field locations.
• Troubleshoot Cisco VOIP phone systems and coordinate with 3rd party consultants.
• Build and manage vendor relationships for IT services and supplies.
• Provide timely activity reports as directed by management.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
