Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Field Planning Manager to optimize field inventory and support installation and service teams. You will coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand Planning, Product, and Field Operations to ensure technicians have the necessary inventory and tools to serve customers.

The role focuses on LOS, inventory turns, and cost-effective logistics, driving continuous improvement and operational discipline across field programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, field operations, logistics, or related operational functions.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams or operational programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into operational action.
• Experience working cross-functionally with operational and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field LOS targets and inventory availability to support service operations.
• Develop and execute strategies to optimize field inventory levels and turns.
• Monitor inventory performance, identify risks, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Demand Planning to align inventory and forecasted demand.
• Support replenishment, stocking strategies, and field deployment initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and develop dashboards for field readiness and performance.
