Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Field Planning Manager to execute and improve field inventory operations that support installation and service teams in the Utah region. You will partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Field Operations to ensure technicians have inventory, tools, and support to serve customers.

The role emphasizes balancing field inventory levels, LOS, and logistics cost, driving performance, and leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance field readiness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in supply chain, inventory management, or field operations.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LOS targets for field operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize field inventory levels and turns.
• Monitor inventory performance and coordinate corrective actions.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Demand Planning to align replenishment and demand.
• Support replenishment, stocking strategies, and field deployment initiatives.
• Participate in weekly operational reviews to communicate LOS performance and risks.
• Develop reporting and scorecards for field inventory performance.
• Serve as primary contact for field inventory needs and drive alignment.
• Identify opportunities with Operations and Leadership to improve inventory readiness.
