Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking a Field Planning Manager to optimize field inventory and support installation and service teams nationwide. You will partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand Planning, Product and Field Operations to ensure technicians have the inventory and tools needed.

The role emphasizes LOS, inventory turns, cost efficiency, and readiness, with success measured by LOS performance, turns, and field effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, field operations, logistics, or related functions.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams or programs.
• Experience with inventory systems, reporting tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory availability levels to support LOS targets for field operations.
• Develop and execute strategies to optimize field inventory levels and turns.
• Monitor inventory performance and coordinate corrective actions to maintain technician readiness.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Demand Planning to align availability, replenishment, and forecasted demand.
• Support NPI pilots and field deployments, includingInventory tracking and post-pilot reconciliation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance field inventory processes and technician productivity.
