Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Field Interviewers for the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS). The role involves in-person and computer-assisted interviews with households across the United States, with mandatory MEPS training in January 2027 and potential overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to enter binding confidentiality agreements to protect project information.
• Available to complete mandatory web-based home study training and in-person training in January 2027.
• Be willing to travel to local and long-distance households, including overnight travel as needed.
• Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, when work is available, mostly evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult household members.
• Contact households, set appointments, and collect interview data and documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
• Attend MEPS training and comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
