Job summary

Westat is seeking motivated Field Interviewers to work on the MEPS study. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult respondents, traveling to households as needed and completing required documents. Training and travel are mandatory, with two data collection periods each year.

The role is part-time and non-exempt, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. You will transmit data daily and must comply with data security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to enter confidentiality agreements.
• Available to complete mandatory web-based training and in-person training dates.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
• Part-time, non-exempt position with data collection during two yearly periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults.
• Contact households, set appointments, and collect interview data.
• Transmit data daily and comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
• Assist with paperwork and post-training activities as required.
