Job summary

Westat, Inc. is recruiting Field Interviewers for the MEPS study, conducting in-person interviews with households across the United States. The role requires travel, computer-assisted interviewing, and daily data transmission, with mandatory January 2027 training.

The position is part-time, with two data collection periods annually, potential overnight travel, and overtime eligibility. Some benefits apply after meeting hours, and background screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based home study and in-person training in January 2027.
• Must travel within designated areas for in-person interviews and occasional overnight travel.
• Available for January 2027 to December 2030 with at least 20 hours per week when work is available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with adult household members.
• Schedule appointments, obtain cooperation, and collect required documents.
• Transmit data daily and comply with data security requirements.
