Job summary

Summit Business Group is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to drive growth with small and medium-sized businesses. You will work in the field, meeting with business owners to present supplemental insurance solutions, with a focus on establishing relationships and closing sales.

You will manage the full sales cycle, including follow-ups, and leverage our Salesforce CRM to track prospects. A driver’s license and a proactive, customer-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in sales or customer-facing role.
• Outside sales experience is a plus.
• Experience in door-to-door or B2B sales preferred.
• Ability to manage training cycles (in-person & online).
• Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms.
• Excellent organizational, communication & presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute in-person sales calls to business owners and key decision-makers.
• Build rapport with clients and deliver compelling product presentations.
• Close sales during first meetings or schedule follow-ups for closure.
• Maintain strong client relationships and responsive communication throughout the claims process.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance coverage with additional lines.
