Job summary

Summit Business Group is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to build relationships with business owners, assess needs, and present supplemental insurance solutions. You will work in your assigned territory, balance cold outreach with warm leads, and operate with a flexible schedule that aligns with client hours.

You’ll engage clients in person and via phone using Salesforce CRM, aiming to close sales while becoming a trusted advisor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles, especially outside sales.
• Ability to run full training cycles, in-person and online.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willing to obtain Health & Life license (licensing reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Develop lasting relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Present tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs.
• Call on new businesses, referrals and re-service existing clients.
• Set appointments, manage pipeline, and hit monthly quotas.
• Maintain a personal book of business and report sales activity.
