Job summary
Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field maintenance, installation, and calibration of instrumentation and control systems at customer sites. Travel to diverse facilities, perform commissioning and calibration of sensors, valves, actuators, and drives, and document all service actions with precision.
The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and collaboration with customers and internal teams to identify upgrade opportunities.
Qualifications
- BS/HS required with electrical/mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
- 2+ years installing, maintaining, and repairing process/control equipment.
- Strong computer proficiency for instrumentation measurement and control.
- Experience with instrumentation, valves, actuators, pumps, and drives.
Responsibilities
- Perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
- Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow and other instrumentation; commission loops.
- Install and calibrate measuring devices and positioning systems; perform minor electrical work.
- Complete documentation for service actions; report activity and maintain logs.
