Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and calibration of instrumentation and control systems at customer sites across the region.

The role requires traveling to customer locations, using company vehicle, and maintaining thorough service logs while ensuring safety and compliance. A high school diploma or technical degree plus 2+ years in similar roles is preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
2+ years installing, maintaining, and repairing process/control equipment including instrumentation, valves, actuators, pumps, etc.
Strong computer proficiency with measurement/control instruments.
Electrical/electrician experience and safety training.

Responsibilities

Perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
Complete documentation for actions taken and maintain detailed logs of service calls, parts, and orders.
Represent company during Field Service tasks with a can-do attitude.
Identify safety issues and opportunities for equipment upgrades at customer facilities.
Travel to job sites using company vehicle and adhere to defensive driving policies.
