Job summary

FCX Performance, an Applied Industrial Technologies Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems for a variety of customers.

Responsibilities include calibrating pressure, temperature, and flow instrumentation, commissioning loops, installing devices, and completing detailed service documentation. Travel to customer sites and safe, professional execution are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years installing, maintaining and repairing process/control equipment.
• Strong computer proficiency to operate electronic instruments.
• Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting drives.
• Electrical/electrical experience and mechanical tooling skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow and other instrumentation; commission loops.
• Install and calibrate measuring and positioning devices; perform minor electrical maintenance.
• Complete documentation for actions taken and maintain detailed service logs.
• Travel to and from job sites using company vehicle; maintain safe driving habits.
• Identify safety issues and opportunities for upgrades at customer facilities.
