Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field maintenance, installation, calibration, and repair of instrumentation and control systems at customer sites in the Toledo area.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, PLC programming, and the ability to work independently in varied environments, including travel to multiple locations with a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates or Technical Degree preferred.
• 2+ years installing, maintaining, and repairing Process/Control equipment incl. instrumentation, valves, actuators, pumps.
• Strong computer proficiency to operate electronic and microcomputer instruments used to measure/control variables.
• Strong mechanical proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Electrical/electrician experience is preferred.
• Industrial safety training is desirable.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Programming and troubleshooting variable drives.

Responsabilités

• Perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate sensors and calibrate measuring/positioning devices.
• Complete documentation for service actions and maintain detailed logs.
• Travel to customer sites using company vehicle with safe driving practices.
• Represent the company during Field Service tasks and maintain a professional attitude.
• Identify safety issues and opportunities for equipment upgrades at customer sites.
