Nextlink Internet is seeking a Field Installation Technician to perform on-site installations and service visits for customers in Texas. You will install Internet equipment, run cabling, configure routers, and troubleshoot service issues at customer sites.

The role emphasizes professional customer interaction, independent work, and adherence to safety and company policies. Overtime, on-call duties, and a focus on reliability are expected.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Strong customer service and technical troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate serviceability.
• Diagnose problems at service calls and restore service for existing customers.
• Install Internet service and equipment at customer locations, including mounting and cabling.
• Configure routers and customer devices for access to Internet services.
• Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers.
• Complete customer installations, service visits, and on-site troubleshooting.
