Job summary

SmartRent is seeking a Field Installation Quality Control Manager to lead audits and corrective actions across installation sites. This role requires frequent travel to ensure installations meet our high quality standards and to bridge the field with the quality team.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in quality control or installation processes and strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Remote-friendly role with US-wide responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; 3–5 years in quality control or installation processes.
• Experience in supporting quality control audits and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with field operations and quality control practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to installation sites.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support quality control audits on installations in accordance with established processes.
• Assist in root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Bridge communication between field installation team and quality team.
• Travel to installation sites to support audits and address quality issues.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of corrective actions.
